La Fattoria Di Alessandra
Alessandra’s farm opened in 2013 at the Rospetto Riding School with the purpose to create an environment where families and schools could come and visit while learning about the many animals (mainly farm animals).
In time Alessandra’s farm has become a shelter for injured, homeless or abandoned animals.
Hence “Cesco” (an Indian blackbird) who was considered too chatty by his previous family;
“Chip” and “Dale” two chinchillas born from “unwanted” pregnancies; “Bianca” and many other bunnies purchased or received as birthday or Christmas gifts and who soon overstayed their welcome in their families. Alessandra’s farm mascots are surely “Gina” and “Cesira”, respectively a Vietnamese pig and a Suffolk sheep. They are joined by many horses, two goats, two donkeys, chickens, roosters, ducks, peacocks and, who knows?, when you come visit you might even find new arrivals.
